Holly Nordlum is an Inuit artist and activist from the Northwest Arctic of Alaska. She is the leader of a group of Inuit women who are reclaiming the nearly-lost art of Inuit facial tatooing. We sat down on zoom to talk about her work, and the ongoing work of cultural reclamation by indigenous people all over the world. We discussed the reasons it's needed and the challenges they face.
